  • The reason why the series resonance test equipment cannot be improved

    There are two main reasons why series resonance testing equipment does not boost voltage when understanding voltage. For example, whether the boost point did not rise after finding the resonance point, or whether the boost did not rise during the search for the resonance point. By analyzing these two situations, determine whether there is a problem with the series resonance testing device itself or whether the insulation of the test item is damaged.


    For example, the first scenario is damage to the cable insulation layer (this possibility is very small, and if it is damaged, the resonance point cannot be found).


    The second scenario is that the reactor you are using is damaged. This kind of hardware damage will definitely not increase


    Usually, series resonance does not enhance. In most cases, problems arise during the search for resonance points. The main reason for not being able to find the resonance point is that the capacitance and reactance of the specimen do not match, making it impossible to find the resonance point caused by resonance conditions exceeding the resonance frequency.Inthis situation, our solution is as follows:


    1. Parallel compensation capacitors in the loop of series resonance testing equipment.


    2. Adjust the series or parallel connection of the reactor to increase or decrease the inductance. Changing LC will generate resonance.  


    The situation where no boost is generated is that the overvoltage protection and flashover protection parameters of the series resonant variable frequency power supply are set too small, so that the testing equipment is protected during the process of finding the resonance point, and therefore cannot be boosted. In some cases, individual ground leaks can cause the boost to increase by half and cannot continue. At this point, the boost should be stopped, and after carefully checking the wiring, testing can continue.
